Anxiety & Depression

Anxiety and depression can affect nearly every area of life, from relationships and work to sleep, motivation, and everyday enjoyment. Counseling can help you understand the patterns contributing to anxiety or depression while developing healthier ways to cope. Whether you're experiencing persistent worry, panic, low mood, burnout, or feeling unlike yourself, specialized support can help you regain a sense of balance and move forward.

Trauma & PTSD

The effects of trauma can extend far beyond the original experience, influencing emotions, relationships, thoughts, and responses to everyday situations. Trauma-focused care provides a safe environment to process difficult experiences, understand lingering symptoms, and work toward healing. Depending on your needs, treatment may incorporate approaches such as EMDR and other evidence-based trauma therapies.

Marriage & Couples Counseling

Relationships can become strained by communication difficulties, recurring conflict, emotional disconnection, trust concerns, intimacy issues, parenting differences, and major life changes. Couples counseling offers a structured, supportive environment to understand one another more clearly, address unhealthy patterns, and rebuild connection. Support is available for couples at many stages, including those preparing for marriage and those wanting to strengthen an established relationship.

Parenting, New Parent & Postpartum Support

Parenthood brings significant changes, and adjusting to those changes isn't always easy. Pregnancy, postpartum life, sleep deprivation, changing family dynamics, and the demands of caring for others can affect emotional well-being and relationships. Counseling can give parents a place to process these challenges, develop healthy coping strategies, strengthen family relationships, and prioritize their own mental and emotional needs.

Christian Counseling & Spiritual Struggles

Faith can be an important part of the healing process. For those who desire it, counseling can incorporate Christian faith and biblical principles alongside clinically informed mental health care. Support may include navigating spiritual questions, church hurt, shame, guilt, identity, difficult seasons, or challenges within your faith community. Our goal is to provide care that respects both your emotional well-being and your faith.

Life Transitions & Personal Growth

You don't have to be experiencing a mental health crisis to benefit from counseling. Major changes such as marriage, parenthood, divorce, career transitions, family changes, grief, or other unexpected circumstances can leave you feeling overwhelmed or uncertain. Counseling can provide perspective and support as you identify patterns, build self-awareness, strengthen relationships, and develop the confidence to navigate what's next.

Intensive Therapy for Focused, Accelerated Progress

Sometimes weekly therapy doesn't feel like enough. Therapy intensives provide dedicated time and space to focus more deeply on specific challenges, goals, or areas where you feel stuck. Salt & Light Counseling offers customizable 1-, 2-, and 3-day therapy intensives designed around your individual needs and treatment goals.

An intensive may be helpful for individuals or couples who want to devote concentrated time to healing, relationship work, trauma recovery, or making meaningful progress through a difficult season. A 3-day intensive provides up to 24 total hours of focused therapeutic work, creating an opportunity to accomplish in several days what might otherwise take months of traditional weekly sessions.

Whether you're looking for individual therapy, couples work, or focused trauma treatment, an intensive can provide a structured environment for deeper therapeutic work.
