Katy Leech, LPC
Helping individuals navigate depression, anxiety, stress, and life’s difficult seasons with compassionate, personalized support.
Starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially when you're not sure what to expect or whether you even have the “right” reasons to be there. Katy wants potential clients to know that everyone deserves support and a safe person to talk to. You don't have to have everything figured out before you begin, and you can always take the first step and see whether therapy feels right for you.
Katy Leech, LPC, believes that no one should have to navigate life's hardest moments alone. Her desire to become a therapist began with her own experience in counseling at age 14. Her counselor helped her feel less alone in her struggles, and that experience inspired Katy to eventually provide that same sense of support to others—especially when life feels dark or overwhelming.
Since becoming a therapist in 2014, Katy has considered it a deep privilege and honor when people trust her with their stories. She works to help every client feel comfortable, at ease, and genuinely heard from their very first session.
Katy's quiet friendliness and genuine interest in getting to know people help create an environment where clients can feel safe sharing their stories. She believes therapy can be a place to take off the mask, wrestle honestly through hard things, and develop the confidence to navigate life's difficulties with greater freedom.
If you're feeling lost in depression or anxiety, you don't have to navigate it alone.

Katy’s Therapeutic Approach
Katy uses an eclectic approach with a foundation in person-centered and emotion-focused therapy. Rather than approaching every client in exactly the same way, she tailors therapy to each person's individual needs, experiences, and goals.
Depending on what a client needs, Katy may incorporate cognitive-behavioral strategies to challenge unhelpful thoughts and beliefs, solution-focused therapy to create practical action plans, and other therapeutic techniques designed to support meaningful change.
Her goal is for clients to feel supported, heard, and understood while gaining greater insight into the emotions and beliefs that may be contributing to depression, anxiety, or stress.
During a typical session, clients can expect a warmly supportive listening environment where it is safe to share even their deepest struggles and feelings. Katy works collaboratively with clients to address the concerns that matter most to them, gain insight into their struggles, and create a plan for moving forward.
She hopes therapy becomes a place where clients can take off the mask, learn that it is okay to wrestle through hard things, and develop a growing confidence in their ability to navigate those difficulties on their own.
Ultimately, Katy wants clients to gain the freedom to live as they were designed to live.
